Occasionally, maybe every 4-5 years, EPSO and the EU institutions may announce internal competitions in which only Administrators, Assistants and temporary agents (but not contract agents) who are already working in an EU institution can take part.
The goal is to help the career mobility of those who may be eligible for higher positions or temporary agents who wish to obtain a permanent employment contract. These selection exams follow the same rules as any other set by EPSO and the Staff Regulations.
