We, the European Central Bank (ECB), are inviting applications for the position of Economist/Senior Economist.

Job Location: Frankfurt, Germany

The successful candidate must have the following knowledge and competencies:

• Advanced university degree in economics or a related discipline; a PhD would be an asset. A research record in areas related to the Division’s fields of interest is essential and should demonstrate the candidate’s ability to conduct applied economic analysis 
• Sound background and relevant experience in the fields of international finance and macroeconomics, and in particular with a strong expertise in economic modelling and applied econometrics 
• Excellent command of English with proven drafting ability. A working knowledge of at least one other official language of the EU is also required
