We, the European Central Bank (ECB), are inviting applications for the position of IT Expert.

Job Location: Frankfurt, Germany

The successful applicant will be entrusted with the following main tasks: 

• the development of IT application services throughout the complete development lifecycle from technical design, specification, evaluation and selection of new solutions to activity planning, implementation and reporting 
• application integration in the implementation phase of IT services and systems, including analysis, development, testing, maintenance, release and documentation 
• maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation related to SAP products and associated modules and component applications, including operational requirement and release management 
• the transfer of knowledge to colleagues and ensuring that sufficient documentation is available for tasks to be assigned to 1st and 2nd level support 
• close liaison with internal customers regarding the design of solutions to meet requirements and suggesting potential alternatives based on standardisation and total cost of ownership
